Jarin is a Wiradjuri woman born and raised in Sydney with her family bloodlines from Cowra NSW. Jarin grew up in the Waterloo / Redfern and Western Sydney communities.
She spearheaded Trading Blak after experiencing the disempowering and harmful impacts of misrepresentation within the Aboriginal business landscape.

Jarin Street began by recognising the misuse of Aboriginal art and the industries failure to protect artists and Aboriginal designs. The business aims to provide ongoing ethical and sustainable support to artists who contribute their work.
